As the sun begins to set, Chester Zoo transforms into an unforgettable summer celebration. Afterglow invites you to explore the zoo in a whole new light, with live entertainment, themed activity zones, delicious food and exciting experiences waiting around every corner.

Six zones, endless summer fun
Each Afterglow zone offers something different to explore. Travel from the Welcome of Wonder, where larger-than-life performers greet visitors, to Dino Discovery, packed with dinosaur encounters, fossil digs and prehistoric fun.
Join the party at the Jungle Disco, relax with live international music at Sounds of Summer, laugh along with comedy performances at the Laughter Hub or learn more about wildlife conservation at Ranger Basecamp in the Heart of Africa.
Many of Chester Zoo's indoor habitats remain open into the evening, giving you even more opportunities to see incredible animals while soaking up the atmosphere.
